Meet Kent Allard
I began my taxidermy career in 1996 by taking private lessons with a master taxidermist in the Kansas City area. I opened my first taxidermy studio in Drexel, Missouri, in 1997.
The business thrived in the heart of Missouri’s whitetail country. I began taking a limited number of students and ended up selling my business to one of them in 2002. I moved to Salina, Kansas, in 2003 and married the love of my life. I did taxidermy on the side while working full-time as we began our family.
In 2011, I obtained my Federal Firearms License and opened a storefront gun shop. This quickly grew into a thriving business, and I hired a full-time employee. In 2013, my wife had another job change, and this took us to Sidney, Nebraska, where I decided once again to open up a full-time Taxidermy Studio, focusing on providing a high level of quality

Awards
I compete with my taxidermy at State and National shows all across the country each year. I have been fortunate enough to win multiple State Champion awards, as well as four national championships. Competing allows me to continually hone my craft and learn new techniques that bring my commercial work to the highest level.
